Attorney Kemp C. Scales Kemp C. Scales, J.D., CELA* is a certified elder law attorney and the owner of Scales Law Offices, LLC. Mr. Scales concentrates his practice on the legal needs of the elderly and disabled through estate and long-term care planning, special needs trusts, Veteran benefits and estate administration. He is one of only 39 certified elder law attorneys in Pennsylvania (as of 2011). Kemp is a frequent speaker on topics related to elder law and regularly serves on the faculty for the Pennsylvania Bar institute, providing continuing legal education for attorneys. He writes the bi-monthly Scales Elder Law Newsletter as well as a monthly column on elder law issues for The Tri-State Senior News. Kemp received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Pennsylvania Law School in 1983 and since that time has resided and practiced law in the Titusville area. *Certified as an Elder Law Attorney by the National Elder Law Foundation as authorized by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court.
Attorney Schellart Los Attorney Los is a native of Franklin, Pennsylvania. She earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Health Policy Administration and graduated with highest distinction from Penn State University, where she was a member of the University Scholar's Program and was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa Honorary Society. She received her Juris Doctor Degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law in 1995. Schelly most recently served as General Counsel to Salvage Direct, Inc. and returned to private practice in May of 2011
